Kitley house wedding

Justyna & Oliver’s South Hams wedding

In tonights News, if Carlsberg (Tyskie) did weddings, then we believe Justyna & Oliver’s wedding at Wembury Church and Kitley House Hotel in Devon would be used as a storyboard for the perfect day.

Weddings are an exciting affair but when you add different cultural customs and familial formalities into the mix, you’ve got a whole new level of emotions.

Justyna & Oliver’s wedding at Wembury Church and Kitley house hotel was a fabulous fun day. Filled with love, laughter, tears of joy and lots of Polish traditions including shots of famous Polish vodka!

I loved the fact that Justyna did not stop smiling all day. A little incident with her petticoat just outside the Wembury Church seconds before the ceremony did not affect her joy and excitement.  I have never seen a bride and groom so perfect for each other. They never took their eyes off one another all day.

After the church and a quick wonder across Wembury beach in full wedding attire, we all arrived back at Kitley House for the warm reception.

The parents of the bride and groom greeted the newly married couple with bread, salt and two glasses of champagne. This is supposed to ensure prosperity in their new life. After drinking and tossing the glasses over their shoulder it was time for Oliver to carry Justyna over the threshold !!!

Then the vodka shots started! The fireworks display at the end of the day was just a dream come true for both of them.

While on their honeymoon Justyna & Oliver  sent us this lovely message:

‘Also whilst on honeymoon, we’ve been raving about how incredible you guys were on the day! We can’t thank you enough for your friendly, professional and fun approach. Agnieszka was so amazing in the morning at Kitley with my Polish family, offering so much more help than just keeping us all organised and at ease. Andrew, you were so fun on the day making everyone laugh and comfortable. You were both just a dream to have as our wedding photographers and we couldn’t be more grateful!!

Sending you both lots of love, Justyna & Oliver  ‘
