Horn of Plenty intimate wedding

I truly enjoyed photographing Magdalena & Jethro’s intimate wedding at The Horn of Plenty back in May.

The couple held their wedding with just 18 of their closest and dearest. Having a small intimate wedding, Magdalena & Jethro  only wanted photography coverage for a few hours, to simply capture the ceremony, drinks reception, formal group photos and a few bride and groom portraits around  the grounds. It was beautiful and intimate affair.
During the last year we have captured many smaller weddings in Devon & Cornwall, often small due to restrictions in place at the time, but I have honestly loved each and every one of them.

Small, intimate, mid week weddings are a great option for any time of the year and we at Younger Photography love being able to offer flexible wedding packages and a simple hourly coverage rate to capture and tell the story of these intimate weddings. There are many reasons why couples might choose to have a mid-week wedding. Some of the most common reasons include:

  • Cost savings: Mid-week weddings are often less expensive than weekend weddings, as venues and vendors are typically more willing to offer discounts.
  • Less crowded: Mid-week weddings are typically less crowded than weekend weddings, which can make for a more intimate and relaxed experience.
  • More flexibility: Mid-week weddings offer more flexibility in terms of scheduling and logistics. For example, couples may be able to get a better deal on a venue or vendor if they are willing to have their wedding on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
It was great to be back at The Horn of Plenty,  venue that combines romantic country house splendour with exquisite photographic opportunities!
We are always happy to photograph intimate weddings. If you are planning an intimate wedding, we would love to chat with you about your plans
