Ah, Devon and Cornwall in the summer. Just the name conjures images of golden beaches, azure skies, and the sweet scent of wildflowers. And when a wedding day blessed with such weather coincides with a relaxed, fun-loving couple, well, that’s a photographer’s dream come true. That was precisely the magic I found myself capturing at The Orangery, Mount Edgcumbe.

As Younger Photography, we’ve had the privilege of documenting countless weddings, but this one truly stood out. The atmosphere was electric, buzzing with an infectious joy that permeated every corner. The ceremony, held at  Mount Edgcumbe House, was filled with heartfelt vows and tearful laughter. The reception, a kaleidoscope of colour and movement, saw guests dancing the night away under a sky ablaze with stars at the Orangery.

But it wasn’t just the big moments that captivated me. It was the quiet in-between scenes: the stolen glances between Ashleigh & Brian, the tender moments shared with friends and family, the bursts of  laughter during impromptu photo sessions.
