St Anne's House wedding Plymouth

First Ever Wedding at St Anne’s House Jennycliff

It finally happened yesterday at St Anne’s House Jennycliff!

After many attempts of trying to get married since 2020, multiple venue closures and lost deposits this lovely couple Conor and Laura finally got to get married at St Emanuel’s church followed by an intimate reception at St Anne’s House overlooking the easterly winds battering the breakwater and Jennycliff bay!

St Anne’s House Jennycliff is a wonderful, new and  intimate wedding venue in Plymouth.

The day was carefully planned and coordinated by Kelly Neno from Come 2Gether Weddings and Events . Blush Pinks and Gold table decorations was required….. no fuss just simple gold crackle vases with faux flowers in bridal colours and a sprinkle of creams and pinks pampas grass sat on a large wooden Log stand sprinkled with personalised wooden table confetti.

Blush pink lace chair sashes complimented the venue chivalry chair  B&G personal table plans created on white step ladder decorated with faux flowers and a pretty wooden wishing well for their guests to pop their cards into. The bride wore a stunning dress from The Wedding Company Plympton .

St Annes’s House Jennycliff offered the perfect setting and the day really was stunning… Great guests, emotional speeches, beautiful cake to cut and a first dance all in the outdoor area with marquee roof in the pool area…
Amazing food was created from the fabulous team from Devon Catering Le Frog. The wedding breakfast was served and eaten in the outside marquee area which we set up separately and glasses raised outside.

I really want to thank Laura and Conor so much for sticking with us through this tough year. Like so many of our clients they kept coming back to us with fingers crossed in the hope we would be available for their new date. Two of their wedding venues sadly went bankrupt causing them untold stress.

Younger photography team  was over the Moon with  the mention on the #oneshow on the BBC showing our image of the fabulous Laura & Conor’s wedding at the St Anne’s House Jennycliff on the TV box commenting on the opening of weddings again in the UK.

As the winds held back for a few minutes we managed to a short trip down to Mountbatten pier for a few , stunning evening sunset images and outside for the last rays of sunlight to end a truly wonderful day.

It’s so good to be back!

2022 is set to be a busy one. A recent study by Bridebook claims that around 64% of weddings in 2020 were cancelled or postponed as a result of coronavirus. That’s a lot of weddings to have to reschedule in an already popular 2021/ 2022 wedding season! We still have some great dates and mid week deals available.
We look forward to hearing from you!

Below I have attached a lovely review from a very happy couple:

”What can we say about Andrew and the team at Younger Photography. After having 5 cancelations including 3 venues younger stayed with us every step of the way. The photos he has produced are outstanding and we have received nothing but praise from everyone that has seen them. When booking Andrew we expected a world class photographer that would capture our day at St Annes’ House Jennycliff  in the best way. And he didn’t disappoint! What we didn’t expect was all of this, plus an additional wedding planner, an industry expert and a friend. He makes you feel so calm and at ease and will do everything he can to make your day perfect whilst capturing every moment of it. The Knowledge he has of this industry is unrivalled and we can’t than him enough for everything he done for us.” Laura & Conor
