Magnificent Bovey Castle wedding

Long, cold January nights… To warm you up we are posting this summer, super stylish and classic wedding of Matthew & Yasmin at St. Andrews Church, Moreteonhampstead followed by lavish Bovey Castle.

Yasmin & Matt both fell in love with the whole vibe at Bovey Castle in Dartmoor, especially the modern take on this beautiful old mansion. They were 100% happy with every aspect of it.

They allocated their budget on the things most important to them first. Bovey Castle clicked all the boxes. Next on the list was a photographer and videographer .

Once your day is over you will have this material for a lifetime of memories so I was not willing to compromise on the price for quality on this. After showing Matt cheaper options and the difference in quality he then agreed!

We had already booked and paid a deposit to a photograoher when I came across Younger Photography page. I instantly fell in love with the shots I saw on social media, I set up a meeting with them. As soon as I was shown the album styles and style of work I knew the vision I had would come to life with Younger.

Yasmin loves flowers! Flowers have always been a vision of hers for a wedding.

The theme was beautifully classic and clean with roses and peonies throughout with a ivory and white accents. This theme was used for all bouquets, church displays, flower wall and Bovey Castle wedding breakfast room decorations.

We love Yasmin classic look. She wore beautiful dress by Stella York. Her cathedral veil, borrowed as “something borrowed” from her maid of honour just finished the look perfectly. The boys hired their Peter Posh suits from our lovely friends the Groom’s Room in Plympton.

The wedding day was a real reflection of Yasmin & Matt as a couple, loving, caring people surrounded by people they most care about. We just loved capturing plenty beautiful and special moments between them.

Our wedding day truly was one of the most magical days we will ever experience together. You will never again feel those feelings and sense of love. Love towards each other in front of your chosen closest friends and family, that is why it will forever be a day we look back on with the fondest of memories.

Most special moments of the day

Time together. Just the two of us in the grounds of Bovey Castle whilst some photographs were being taken. We were able to really look at our day and that it had finally come together.

Another special moment was for us to be able to see our children surrounded by so much love in watching their mummy and daddy get married. This was shown through Ava’s church reading and her very special speech which will forever be the most special memory to us.
