sea side wedding at polshawn fort

Polhawn Fort seaside wedding in Cornwall

January blues? Have a look at this relaxed seaside wedding in Cornwall I was lucky to photograph last summer.

More and more wedding couples draw away from traditional wedding planning. This is why seaside destination weddings rise in popularity each year. Destination weddings not only allow for smaller guests list but also for quality time and attention for all invited for the day.

Most of couples seeking destination weddings aim for a modern, sandy, seaside experience and a relaxed seaside vibe is so hard to beat. But what if you don’t want to travel too far?

Nottinghamshire couple Jennifer & Dave dreamed of an intimate seaside affair with the beautiful scenery. Their hearts were set on Cornish South Coast and a cliff top Polhawn Fort with secluded Polhawn Cove beach below. When they booked Younger as their wedding photographer we couldn’t be happier.

What an amazing, relaxed, seaside wedding day they had. It was a hot day with a gentle sea breeze; you would think you are in South of France! Almost a destination wedding.

I loved every minute of it. Perfect, a carefree day you can dream of with perfect weather, drinks, ukuleles and games. I was photographing smiles and laughter all day long. You just cannot beat that. I love a seaside wedding! When I got home I ordered a Ukulele.
