winter wedding at Kitley House

Our First Wedding of 2018 – a winter affair

A winter wedding at Kitley house

February is always such a beautiful time of the year. Those cold, crisp mornings remind us that winter isn’t quite over, but those lighter evenings show us that spring isn’t too far away.

Whilst it is a slightly quieter time of the year for weddings, it’s undeniably one of the most magical and purest months to get married.

It was the 2nd of February that we captured the first wedding of the year.

Megan and Ben’s magical winter wedding at Kitley House, there wasn’t a dry face in the house!

We can’t forget another special VIP of the day who was their son Archie.

We were both fighting flu days before the wedding, but as the day crept up on us, the adrenaline and excitement kicked in. The emotions and joy that we got to share on their special day was more than enough to keep us going.

As her parents and sister laid eyes on her for the first time in her stunning wedding dress by Amica Bridal Boutique, the flood of emotions that were experienced that day had only just begun.

The bridesmaids were wearing gorgeous, salmon pink floor-length gowns, with the whole bridal team accessorising with pastel coloured bunches of flowers. A subtle, yet stunning contrast against the grooms navy blue suit.

Once the ceremony had declared them husband and wife, the confetti shower followed, the best time for getting those action shots!

The grounds of Kitley provide the perfect, dramatic backdrop for wedding photographs. We especially love the wintry portraits, the grounds look so different in each season. That is the magic of Kitley House. No wedding shot here is the same, no season will ever look the same. The photographs we capture always look different, it’s something we will never tire of.

As the evening celebrations commenced, the warm candlelight shot inside Kitley House is enchanting in so many ways. It’s romantic, wintry and it couldn’t be a more perfect February wedding in any way.

Their special day was sealed in style with a stunning firework display by Pyrotechnic Fireworks. Just when you think a day couldn’t be any more magical…

Every step of the wedding was memorable. Every emotion captured. It was truly a wedding to remember, with unique touches for the happy couple.

Congratulations to Megan and Ben on their special wedding, and thank you for letting us join you on your special day.
