Reflections 2017

No longer Hartley wedding photographers. Now Younger Photography are Plymstock wedding photographers.

OMG, I’ve just realised we are about to apologise and bang on about our poor orphan blog. “Too busy to write a post”.

Well, I have to say the same excuses still stand, and more.  It was a super busy year. We moved from our wonderful modern house &  residential studio in Hartley Plymouth into a not so modern house in Plymstock Plymouth. We are officially Plymstock wedding photographers now.

The term “fixer-upper” does not quite cut the custard when describing our house. In the eight months, we have been here we have made good progress and no longer need buckets to catch the rain water.

We do have a wonderful, magical studio at the bottom of our garden. It was apparently used as a dynamite storage room for the local Hooe & Oreston quarries.  We call it affectionately “the Dynamite chapel” and really look forward to showing you this little bombproof studio. The move back to Plymstock made so much sense as most of our weddings are within the Plymstock area.

The other credible excuse for not really using our Blog is this fine new look website, which has been on the cards for many months, finally up and running. We are super proud of it.

2017 was a really good year for Younger photography. We met some lovely people and photographed at some stunning venues across the UK.

From country affairs and bouncy castles to traditional services, each and every wedding we captured stole our hearts.

Flicking through the collection below we’re sure you’ll agree that the imagery can transport you to that moment in time.  That’s why we do it, to help those moments to be remembered for years to come.

We’re incredibly excited to capture the hearts and lives of many more couples in 2018 bringing that special day to life again, and again.

We are looking forward to joining you on your very own love story very soon. Happy New Year!
