The Mewstone wedding at The New Barton Barns

A rustic knees up at New Barton Barns

After all, we are, carrot crunching, hedge-hopping pasty munching ‘proper Janners’  and we love, love, love a good ole barn wedding.

So when Lucy and Toby come to our studio talking Devon Sea views, barns, farm fields, hay bales, West Country burgers, bunting and cocktail bars we were all ears……Then they dropped the M bomb, a Mariachi band. No way, we had to get this wedding.

“Top tip”, when looking for your perfect wedding photographer, if you are planning to make your day super personal or definitely different, please let us know. I’ll be throwing ridiculous discounts on to the table to book that wedding of yours 😉

Anyhow, back to the Gorgeous Lucy, sea views, cocktails and mariachi band.

We had a busy weekend booked with four amazing weddings back to back, each day saw some of the hottest days of the year, “El Scorchio” see what  I did there, El Scorchio / Mariachi band…….Ok, moving on…

Our gallant firefighting groom, Toby, and his men had all the decoration and planning in hand. Sorting all the decorative lighting and bunting before getting ready in his dapper suit for the day.

“I do like to see the guys wearing comfortable suits” a good suit makes all the difference in the photographs. Loved the fact that Toby even planned for the amazing weather with a swift change after the ceremony into a pair of shorts.

Lucy, what can we say, the Pronovias dress suited you perfectly. You looked absolutely amazing…You totally rocked that veil!

As you can see from the photographs the day was super relaxed, everybody enjoyed the grounds and the surrounding locations. Some wedding guests even camped in the field next door. Imagine waking up to that panoramic view over the Mewstone after the most amazing wedding ever at New Barton barns.
